Edmonds residents love their dogs. It's pretty clear when you walk about town and see the number of dog walkers and dog water dishes outside downtown business doors.
Edmonds' own The Haus of Dogs rescues dogs and lets the public come play with them. One visitor said it was a "great place for dogs and for people." Unfortunately, CEO Aishah Hammock had to close shop for the COVID-19 stay-at-home orders. Luckily, she was able to find homes for almost 30 dogs before that happened. She hopes to reopen and is using a GoFundMe Account to help.

Edmonds Off-Leash Dog Park on the waterfront was also closed during the early part of the COVID-19 pandemic, but is open in time for summer fun!
What dog doesn't enjoy a romp on the beach without a leash to hold them back from the fun? Off-leash on the beach is a special place for dogs and their owners.
The park formed in 2006 after others took notice of the tireless efforts of one woman who cleaned the park every single morning for eight years of dog doo-doo. Out of her efforts, the park was formed and a non-profit created to manage the location. Today, dogs swim, meet new friends, and play hard on the Edmonds waterfront.
