What do movies like The Avengers series, Back to the Future, and See You Yesterday have in common with the television series Doctor Who and quantum physics? Each depict ways people have thought about time travel. What makes time travel so powerful that it resonates in each of us, and to what lengths would we go to make it a reality? Presented in partnership with the University of Washington Bothell, Once Upon a Time Machine invites students to explore time travel from a variety of perspectives: science, history, literature (books, comics), and popular culture.

This camp takes place in ECA’s breezeway garden. In the event of bad weather, our gymnasium will be used as a back-up space. Both indoors and outdoors, we require all students and instructors to wear masks and follow State-mandated social distancing guidelines.
