With people coming together again once more to indulge in the sensual pleasure of dancing, close in the arms of another, Willow's paintings carry the viewer into the beauty of romance.

Willow Bader has a unique talent: she paints her gorgeous scenes using the unusual medium of encaustic - melted, pigmented beeswax and resin. Most often, you will see encaustic used in abstract paintings, when the medium has been poured into lovely designs. But Willow is one of a handful of artists who actually paint with this challenging medium - as in, with a brush! And luscious brushstrokes are what Willow's paintings are known for! As an accomplished dancer in the Argentine Tango style, Willow has found her muse: evenings filled with music and dancers, nightlife with good food and wine, and the romance surrounding the Tango.
