Whether you’re hosting weekly tailgates or firmly a fair-weather fan, it’s undeniable: heavy sports season is back, many meats will be grilled, and chilled glasses will be clinked. If you’d like to lessen the hosting load, there are lots of places in Edmonds where you can go to meet friends new and old, cheer for your team, and have yourself a fun-filled watch party.

So, let’s talk about 13 sports bars to root for your team in Edmonds. Settle in because the list is long and continues to grow.

People watching football on TV at The Channel Marker Pub & Grill in Edmonds, WAThe Channel Marker Pub & Grill

This popular steps-from-the-water spot has an extensive menu full of pub fare, cold beers, and a full bar. It’s a great place to enjoy a meal, catch a game, shoot some pool, place a bet, or play a video game. Got some knee-biters in tow? Whether you're looking for a casual hangout with friends or a family-friendly dining experience, The Channel Marker has something to offer everyone.

ChurchKey Pub

Gather some friends to face off at darts at popular ChurchKey Pub or settle into an old church pew right off the main drag downtown. This busy spot also has a bigger back patio than you’d expect. It’s a popular gathering place for soccer (the other football) fans. With excellent pub food, fantastic cocktails, and lots of beers on tap, this is your moody European-inspired experience where you’ll watch whatever game is playing on the TV and find yourself completely content.

EdWay Tap House

Proudly serving 17 rotating local beers, food trucks, and good times, EdWay Tap House is the destination for beer-lovers and families in the Westgate neighborhood. Not only do they list upcoming games on their website, but they also always have board games and corn hole to keep the fun flowing.

Harvey’s Tavern

Known for its friendly atmosphere and hearty American fare (read: tots), Harvey's Tavern is a popular neighborhood bar in the Uptown neighborhood off Highway 99 with lots of TVs. Pop in for bar games like pool and darts or stay awhile for all sorts of sports. Tasty burgers, sandwiches, salads, seafood, and more can be enjoyed inside or on their outdoor patio. Just add a cold beer or your favorite cocktail and you’re set!

The Hook

You might not guess when you’re driving by, but The Hook is surprisingly spacious. Games are played on a couple of screens above the bar, the food is consistently solid and accommodating to many diets and restrictions, and wings are $1.25 each on Wednesdays. If you’ve been meaning to explore Perrinville, this is the place to start!

People watching sports on TV at the bar at MVP's sports bar in Edmonds, WAMVP’s

MVP’s on Highway 99 is where you’ll want to go to watch the next big fight, order some lumpia, put your thumbs to work on the Xbox, and dust off your beer pong skills. With more TVs and more sports than most places in town (we’re talking NFL, MLB, UFC, NBA, MLS, and more), you’ll want to add a Bacon Burger and a beer and plan to stay awhile.

Off Main

In a cavernous lodge space that also happens to feel quite farmhouse chic (a design feat as far as we’re concerned!), Off Main will keep you fed, watered, and warm while the game plays over a roaring fire. Order a round of Buffalo Chicken Sliders with a mule. Linger for live music. We have a strong sense you’ll like it here.

Rory’s

When people talk about places to hang in Edmonds, you will likely hear someone mention Rory’s. A local institution since 1994 with a massive umbrella-strewn back deck facing the Salish Sea, this is your classic sticky-floored bar that serves mozzarella sticks alongside a baker’s dozen burger options and their famous baby back ribs. Bonus? They’re slinging wings on Sundays and have options for the kiddies, too.

People at Salish Boathouse in Edmonds WASalish Sea Brewpub (and Salish Sea Boathouse)

For the uninitiated, the double Salish Sea locations can be a bit confusing. The Brewing Company is mostly indoor and downtown with a larger food menu while the Boat House is closer to the beach, has a more indoor-outdoor vibe with a huge crab mural on the property, offers live music, and is where most of their beer is now housed. Both are great places to catch a game and enjoy a cold one.

Scott’s Bar & Grill

Right down the road from Lake Ballinger, you’ll find Scott’s Bar & Grill, an airy neighborhood institution focused on all things local: food, drinks, and teams. One of the classiest places on this list, Scott’s is where you take mom for brunch and stay to catch the game. And if you’re hosting a watch party and don’t want to cook, consider them for catering!

A Very Taki Tiki Bar & Grill

Always bustling on game days, A Very Taki Tiki Bar & Grill is a popular Edmonds eatery on Main Street offering a tropical escape in the heart of Downtown Edmonds. Sip on exotic cocktails and nom on delicious pub fare like wings and fried pickles while you cheer on the Hawks, the Ms, et al. Eat inside at one of the tall tables or outside under a straw umbrella, and don’t skip out on their great happy hour!

People sitting at the bar watching TV at The Victor Tavern in Edmonds, WAThe Victor Tavern

The newest sports bar in town (last year, Off Main held the honor), The Victor Tavern brought an Ethan Stowell restaurant to Edmonds and planted it at Main Street Commons, where diners and revelers enjoy urban dining, drinks, and rollerball bowling at a whole new level. Head to the mezzanine for lots of TVs and games for the whole crew. Don’t forget to do some finger stretches and to fuel up before your first battle at the shuff table.
