Whether the kiddos are gathered around a ukelele strummer at the Summer Market or you’re crowd surfing to a Blink-182 tribute band at Taste Edmonds (<--- This is hyperbole. Please don’t crowd surf), one thing is for sure: Edmonds is alive with the sound of music this summer.

Let’s talk about the sounds you can expect to hear, where you can find them, and how to get tickets (Spoiler: Most of these tunes we’re about to get into are free). If there was even more reason to explore Edmonds, it’s outdoor summer music.

The Celebration of The Summer: Taste Edmonds

In between your trips to the Marina for Sea Notes, spend a long weekend moving your hips with neighbors and friends at Taste Edmonds. Check out the musical lineup here and get your tickets early here

Not only is this three-day event the celebration of the summer, but it’s also the Chamber of Commerce’s main fundraiser to put on beloved free events you’ve probably heard of and maybe already attended: An Edmonds Kind of 4th, the Edmonds Classic Car & Motorcycle Show, Halloween Trick-or-Treating, and the Tree Lighting Ceremony.

(Pssst, you can also get tickets at the door, but why wait in line when you can skip to the front?)

PorchFest Edmonds

If you’re feeling bummed that the music has ended, fret not! Back for its third year, PorchFest Edmonds is a free musical event that brings the community together in music and creative expression in and around downtown neighborhoods and streets.

Mark your calendar to come out and bop to performances in neighborhood yards, porches, and business fronts, during which local musicians of all ages and experience showcase their talents. Learn more and start planning your day here.
